Anchorage Middletown Fire & EMS will begin the hiring process for our next academy class 26-07 on Friday, May 1, 2026, through May 30, 2026. 


NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY. ALL TRAINING IS PROVIDED. YOU WILL BE PAID DURING TRAINING.


After numerous site visits, and discussions over the past year, we have partnered with the Kentucky Fire Commission State Fire Academy for this upcoming class. Trainees will attend the state academy where they will complete their Firefighter II, EMT, IFSAC FF I, FFII, Hazmat awareness, hazmat operations, and driver operator prior to graduation. Trainees will then return to AMFEMS where we will conduct agency specific training to better prepare them for day 1 with their assignment.

Compensation:

  • Starting Pay is $57,798.00 at hire. Eligible to receive an additional $4,562 in state training incentive upon successful graduation.

Schedule:
