Arcadia Senior Living Facility Fire

Arcadia Senior Living Facility at 901 Blankenbaker Parkway experienced a large fire.

On Sunday March 22, 2026, our crews responded to a structure fire at the Arcadia Senior Living located at 901 Blankenbaker Pkwy in East Louisville. They worked through the night to bring the incident under control shortly after midnight. Firefighters remained on scene until approximately 6:00 AM on March 23, 2026.

This incident presented significant challenges, including high winds that contributed to fire spread, as well as complex rescue and evacuation operations to ensure the safety of all residents.

Two residents were transported for evaluation. One individual was treated and released later that night, while the second was admitted and remained under care.

A total of 67 residents were displaced as a result of the fire. Of those, 11 were relocated to another building owned by Arcadia, located at 903 Blankenbaker. The remaining 56 residents were able to reunite with family members and, with assistance coordinated at Southeast Christian Church and transportation support from TARC, were able to return home with loved ones.
